A founding member of the Firm, Mr. Montalbano's practice emphasizes commercial real estate, banking, business, and corporate law. He has extensive experience in commercial and industrial land development, including zoning, acquisition, financing and leasing, and is in charge of the Firm's Real Estate and Banking Department.

A graduate of Georgetown University, A.B.1961, Mr. Montalbano received his law degree from Fordham University, LL.B. 1964. An active member of the Rockland County Bar Association, he served as a Director in 1982, as Secretary in 1983, as Treasurer in 1984, as Vice President in 1985 and as President in 1986, and as chairman of the Zoning Committee since 1994. He is also an active member of the New York State Bar Association, participating in the sections on Real Estate Law, Environmental and Corporate Law, and has served as a delegate from Rockland County to the House of Delegates of the Association. He is a member of the American Bar Association, serving on their sections covering Real Estate, Corporate, Banking and Business Law.

In conjunction with his interest and involvement in business and corporate matters, Mr. Montalbano has had broad exposure to IDA financing, and is thoroughly familiar with local and state zoning practices, procedures and environmental law. He presently serves as counsel for the Rockland County Industrial Development Agency. As part of his continuing commitment to the community, Mr. Montalbano is a member of the Board of Trustees of Dominican College and Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation. He serves as counsel to Jawonio, Inc. (a UPC affiliate) and Rockland ARC. In 2007, Mr. Montalbano was inducted into the Rockland County County ARC Hall of Fame and most recently was named Rockland County Business Leader of the Year for 2008.
